Did it again...
Now you can call me an idiot, or just shake your head over so much clumsiness. I fell again. Slipped yesterday over a rain (and what the hell else) soaked snot rag. Hope the arse who threw it on the pavement gets some. What a fucker!
This time I twisted my right ankle and THEN fell on my left knie. The knie just was recovered enough for me not to walk around like somebody with a wooden leg - i.e. I could bend it again - now I can't. It doesn't look this black and blue like it did three weeks ago, but it it hurts worse. No wonder, a contusion over a contusion oughts to hurt like hell, doesn't it?

Do you know what is super wrong with my response to this item from regretsy?

It's that when I glanced at it, after observing the title "This is how we love," the silhouette I saw was Jar-Jar Binks on the right, and my immediate problem with this as a representation of love was that Padme's hair is never all stringy like that, and Anakin's is never long enough to be like that.

Naruto Bleach-style!
This is bloody awesome! Naruto, Bleach-style from Naruto 10th Anniversary Special Fanbook 2 (Via lyssaphra and Bleach newsletter).
And this clearly shows why I love Bleach better than Naruto (although I like Naruto too): among other things, it's simply a question of art style preferences. If Naruto were drawn this way, I'd fall head over heels for it despite its first 20 volumes :D

My Holiday Wish List...
Seriously, I only need one thing.
1) Enough hours in the day so I can read all the amazing things that are being posted/rec'd on my flist. OMG! My flist has exploded. I don't even know where to start. I think I'm actually still back on Monday.

Woe, dreams do not become reality just because they were (mostly) delicious
This morning I woke from a very involved dream about making cookies. Lots of kinds of cookies, with chocolate and nuts and drop cookies and bar cookies and vanilla and mint and mmmm, but most especially this variant on sugar cookies with this frosting that was magically shape-able like fondant, only didn't taste godawful and also was soft and yummy.
Also in the dream, at one point I was repeatedly following Gwen out of Camelot and losing her at some sort of weird hidden path that went on the side of the boulder that didn't exist; I would come back and 1. make more cookies, and 2. listen to additional/ongoing discussion on the importance of calling in the right people to resolve the problem when there are unusual incidents at work (with worksheets and group activities and all the other trappings of an all-day training on something lame), and then follow her again (and lose her again), and so on.
Then, more cookies.
I cannot tell you how sad I was to find no cookies whatsoever in my kitchen on getting up. The lecture on public-safety calls I was okay not to find underway, but. Cookies! I can practically taste them, and yet, they are not here. Also not here: Camelot. *wail*

* Hope all who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful time spent with family and friends.
* The Girl Child went to the Black Friday sales this morning. At 4:49, while I was doing some serious sleeping, she texted. Scared me to death. Why did she text at that unholy hour, you ask... because she spotted John Travolta at the mall. Jesus. She's a freak.
* The Boy Child had to work today - so no shopping for him. Instead, he gave the Girl a list and his debit card. He gave his sister his fucking debit card. When she was going to a mall. The boy is an idiot. Honestly.
* It's chilly here in the Sunshine State tonight. Lovely thing, that. Right along with the Criminal Minds marathon on A&E.

I appreciate your industrious hacking away at the (somewhat-past-)due fic, but some of these errors of logic and departures from expectation as you go along are a bit ridiculous.
For instance, "building" and "bukkake" (of which there is none expected in this fic) are really quite not at all the same thing, and are not interchangeable.

Aventures on rail
So, since I've moved, I go to work by train, which is good as it gives me time for reading, etc.
Except that tonight, I managed to get onto the wrong train, and arrived at the storage station. *facepalm* Thankfully, the train driver was very helpful, and managed to find a colleague that went back to Lyon and could leave me at the station before the last train. :D

Per darlinggirl1263 on LJ: The account was suspended for "excessive CPU usage". The mod is working to get things back up and running. We'll just have to wait it out.
